These may not seem like the kind of collections we normally view that are more subjective collections of the collector’s subconscious urges or pyscho-sexual manifestations. This job of scavenging may be mostly economic in nature, but I feel a certain selection and “display” processes take place, though they may be more functional (money, stuff not falling off the truck) than otherwise.
